上周，小学部的家长们收到了一封特别的邀请函——灵感源自国际（化）学校传统的“Welcome Back to School”活动，这也是一场别开生面的课程说明日（Curriculum Day）。

本周五（9月12日）晚，小学部各年级家长将穿着班级专属的“Dress Code”服装走进校园，亲身体验这一特别的课程说明日。

着装主题

一年级：斑点

二年级：条纹

三年级：星星

四年级：彩虹

五年级：花朵

六年级：炫酷校园风

这不仅是一次家长会，更是一次原汁原味的英式学院制课程体验。家长们将像学生一样被分入不同学院，通过迷你课程沉浸式感受真实的课堂节奏、教学风格与学术要求。与学生们日常相同，表现优良的“大同学”将可为学院赢得House Points积分；但若在课堂上不当使用手机，也可能面临Negative 扣分，甚至收到校长Detention（留堂）提醒哦！

最终，总积分最高的学院将荣获由校长颁发的“每周学院之星”，并获得由成都墨尔文M2咖啡店提供的特别奖励。

Last week, Prep School parents received a very special invitation -- inspired by the traditional"Welcome Back to School"event commonly held in international schools. It is also a fresh take on aCurriculum Day.

This Friday evening, 12^thSeptember, parents from each year group are invited to dress in their class’s designated "Dress Code" and step onto the campus to experience this distinctive Curriculum Day for themselves.

The dress themes are as follows:

Prep 1: Spots

Prep 2: Stripes

Prep 3: Stars

Prep 4: Rainbow

Prep 5: Flowers

Prep 6: School is Cool

This is not just a parents' evening -- it's a truly immersive British-style house system experience. Parents will be assigned to different houses, and take part in mini lessons, experiencing first-hand the daily rhythm of classes, teaching styles, and academic expectations. Just like our pupils, well-behaved "grown-up students" can earn House Points for their house. However, misuse of mobile phones during lessons could lead toNegative points,or even aHeadmaster's Detention!

At the end, the house with the highest points will be crowned "Star of the Week" by the Headmaster and receive a special treat courtesy of Malvern College Chengdu's M2 Coffee Shop.
