8月16日上午，上海凯文英领学校2025级新生夏校正式开营。全新的旅程展开序章，SKEIS大家庭迎来了多元化的新生和家长。在这个热力满满的夏日，以"乘风破浪，梦想起航"为主题的新生夏校正式拉开帷幕。本次夏校将通过文化理解与融入、语言沉浸式运用、自我探索与发现三大核心板块，为新生们打造一个充满活力与变革力量的成长平台。在这里，同学们不仅能在知识与乐趣交融的独特环境中相互熟悉，更将通过丰富多彩的课程活动全面提升综合能力，为即将到来的新学年做好充分准备，开启精彩的求学新征程。
On the morning of August 16th, the summer camp for the 2025 grade students of Shanghai Kaiwen Yingling School officially began. The opening chapter of a brand-new journey has started, and the SKEIS family has welcomed diverse new students and their parents. In this warm summer, the freshmen summer camp themed "Riding the Wind and Breaking Waves, Dreaming Sets Sail" officially kicked off. This summer camp will create a dynamic and transformative growth platform for the new students through three core sections: cultural understanding and integration, language immersion application, and self-exploration and discovery. Here, students can not only get familiar with each other in a unique environment that combines knowledge and fun, but also enhance their comprehensive abilities through a variety of course activities, making full preparations for the upcoming new school year and embarking on an exciting new academic journey.

报到&入住：初见校园，温暖启程
Registration & Check-in
清晨的校园格外热闹，新生们带着行李陆续抵达。在老师们的引导下，同学们有序完成签到打卡，并在创意十足的签到板前留下第一张校园合影。随后，大家前往宿舍，布置自己的“小天地”，迈出融入集体、建立归属感的第一步。
The campus was particularly lively in the early morning as freshmen arrived one after another with their luggage. Under the guidance of the teachers, the students completed the sign-in process in an orderly manner and left their first campus group photo in front of the creative sign-in board. Then, they headed to their dormitories to decorate their "little worlds", taking the first step towards integrating into the collective and establishing a sense of belonging.

开营仪式：师长寄语，点燃梦想
Opening Ceremony
在开营仪式上，王普校长鼓励新生们积极参与这段充满探索，成长和自我超越的精彩旅程。学术校长王东焕、副校长王海鹏以及课程主任分别为同学们介绍了课程和管理安排。
At the opening ceremony, Principal Wang Pu encouraged the new students to actively participate in this exciting journey filled with exploration, growth and self-transcendence. Academic Principal Donald, Vice Principal Chuck and the director in charge of the Singapore curriculum respectively introduced the courses and management arrangements to the students.
新生代表也自信登台，表达了自己对于未来校园生活的期待。夏校不仅仅是一次暑期活动，而是一个浓缩的成长实验室。在这里，知识学习、人际交往、自我探索同步发生，为每一位同学埋下未来发展的关键伏笔。
The new student representatives also confidently took the stage and expressed their expectations for the future campus life. The summer camp is not merely a summer activity; rather, it is a condensed growth laboratory. Here, knowledge acquisition, interpersonal communication, and self-exploration occur simultaneously, laying the crucial groundwork for each student's future development.

破冰活动：笑声中凝聚团队力量
Ice-breaking Activity
下午的破冰活动并不只是热场，而是让学生在游戏和运动中体验合作。在这个过程中大家逐渐学会分工、倾听、鼓励他人，也感受到不同性格、不同背景的人在合作中能带来新的思路。两个小时的时间，让同学们迅速打破隔阂。
The ice-breaking activities in the afternoon were not just for warming up, but rather for allowing students to experience cooperation through games and exercises. During this process, everyone gradually learned to divide tasks, listen to each other, and encourage others. They also realized that people with different personalities and backgrounds could bring new ideas when cooperating. In just two hours, the students quickly broke down the barriers between them.

今天的签到、入住、第一次集体活动，都是进入未来生活的起点。接下来的十几天，他们将逐渐从一个新生，转变为一个懂得如何在校园中学习和生活的人。当夏校结束时，期待同学们会将这份熟悉和自信将延续到未来整个学习生涯。
Today's check-in, check-in procedures, and the first group activity mark the beginning of the future life. In the next few days, they will gradually transform from new students to those who know how to study and live in the campus.
