八月的尾声拂过书页，酷暑耀眼的阳光为梦想铺就长廊。8月27日，青浦协和高中部牛剑、常青藤、达芬奇、龙樱、国湘书院的师生，齐聚于在青龙剧院，以庄严而热烈的仪式，共同为新学年揭开了第一页的篇章。

As August draws to a close, SUIS Qingpu’s High School came together in the Qinglong Theatre to turn the first page of a new academic year. Teachers and students from all five Academies and four Houses gathered for a ceremony filled with music, reflection, and inspiration, setting the tone for the exciting journey ahead.

典礼在悠扬的乐声中拉开帷幕。Dr. Neufield校长首先登台，他欢迎了五大书院、四大学院的新生和老生们重回校园，并以“展卷而读，逐梦启航”为主题发表了深情寄语。他鼓励同学们让英语不止于学科，让阅读不止于课堂，而是透过它看见更广阔的文化、科技与政治图景，从而构建独立而丰盈的精神宇宙。Dr. DiMattei校长也在典礼上寄语全体师生，鼓励大家在新学期中开卷有益、广博学识、以书为友、以思为伴。

Principal Dr. Neufeld delivered a heartfelt address centered on the theme“Turn Pages, Cultivate Dreams,”inspiring students to view English and reading as gateways to broader worlds of culture, science, and politics. Academic Principal Dr. DiMattei echoed this message, encouraging both teachers and students to embrace reading in the new semester—gaining knowledge, finding companionship in books, and fostering personal growth through reflection.

紧接着，卢校的发言巧妙回应了许多学子心中的关键词——“如何‘卷’得更从容”。他指出，真正的成长不是盲目内耗，而是“有节奏、有策略、有智慧的自我超越”。他建议大家做好时间的管理者、目标的优先排序者，在高效与生活之间寻得平衡，成为一名心有所持、步履从容的“长期主义者”。

Principal Lu followed by reminding students that true growth does not come from blind competition, but from“self-transcendence with rhythm, strategy, and wisdom.”He urged students to manage their time wisely, becoming long-term thinkers who move forward with clarity of heart and composure in every step.

高中部主任Mr. Emerson分享了我校在2025年A-Level与IGCSE夏季大考中的喜人成绩：多个学科如高数、化学、生物、经济、商科、音乐等，A*-A与A-C比率持续上升，并纷纷超越全球平均水平。更令人振奋的是，三分之二的学生在A-Level考试中获得三门及以上A*-C好成绩，超过三分之一的学生斩获三门及以上A*-A优秀成绩。如潮的掌声，是对奋斗者最好的致敬。凭借勤奋、专注与持之以恒的精神，我们十二年级的学生正为A-Level大考全力以赴，并为冲击梦校筑牢根基。

Head of High School, Mr. Emerson, proudly shared the school’s outstanding 2025 A-Level and IGCSE results. Subjects such as Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Business, and Music demonstrated continuous improvement in both A–A and A–C results, surpassing global averages. Even more inspiring, two-thirds of the new Grade 12 cohort achieved three or more A–C grades at A-Level, with over one-third attaining three or more A–A grades. Through their hard work, dedication, and commitment to learning, our Grade 12 students have positioned themselves for excellent final A-Level results and strong prospects for securing their first-choice university offers in May 2026.

同时，Mr. Emerson还介绍了“青浦协和学习者培养目标”。该目标在理念内核上深深植根于 IB 学习者培养目标，并在其全球导向的基础上，融入了两项代表学校独特身份的核心价值观：创新与爱国。这些价值观全面贯穿于我们的课程体系与各类课外活动中，致力于培养既拥有国际视野、又深深认同自身文化传承的优秀学生。

Also re-introduced were the School-wide Learning Outcomes (SLOs), attributes that we embed in our curriculum and activities. In addition to embracing a global focus, we incorporate two attributes beyond those promoted by IB Learner Profile that reflect our unique identity:Innovative and Patriotic.These values are also present throughout our curriculum and co-curricular activities, shaping students who are globally aware and also proud of their cultural heritage.

IBDP Coordinator Mr. Mc Daid proudly announced that our school has been officially authorised as an IB World School—an important milestone that reflects our commitment to academic excellence and a global perspective in education. Commencing this past August, we launched the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), providing students with a rigorous and transformative pre-university curriculum that cultivates critical thinking, creativity, and an appreciation for diverse cultures. Mr. Mc Daid and his team look forward to working closely with our current Grade 9 and Grade 10 students as they prepare for the opportunity to join the IBDP in Grade 11.
