“趋同现象”是全球化（globalization)的必然结果。着装趋同也不例外。因此，本题的回答需要结合全球化和本土文化的关系。
思路
本文可以采取一边倒的论证思路。
introduction:全球化背景下，世界各地的人衣着与其他很多东西一样（比如电影、品牌、电视节目、食物）越来越相似。我认为这是一个不好的趋势。
首先，这可能带来本土衣着文化的消失。衣着往往反映文化，比如中国的唐装和中山装（Chinese tunic suit)就带有明确的时代和文化印记，消失了的确是很可惜的。
其次，这可能导致弱势文化本地制衣产业(clothing industry)的萎缩。如果大家都转向强势文化服装，那么本土制衣产业会受到致命打击而萎缩（diminished)，乃至消失（eliminated)。这不利于本土经济发展。
最后，和其他所有东西一样，着装趋同会影响服装的多样化（diversity），让这个世界变得单调乏味。很难想象，日本的和服（kimono)、印度的莎丽服（saree）、非洲的康加（kanga)消失后，世界将是一种什么模样。
结论：虽然全球化趋势让世界各地人的着装变得更简单，更有利于工作场所，但其结果也消灭了服装的文化涵义，不仅让弱势群体的服装经济受损，而且让世界也变得不再可爱。因此，我认为这是消极的趋势。
