01、裁判工作概要
What a WSC Debate Judge Will Do
1、8月8日参与线下裁判培训
入选的裁判须在8月8日前往指定地点参加世界学者杯的裁判培训会议，WSC主席将全方位、详细地讲解裁判工作的流程及细节
2、担任8月9日初级组辩论环节的裁判
入选裁判须在8月9日前往辩论学校担任裁判，参与初级组双方辩手在辩论环节的成绩评判，保持公平公正

辩论环节介绍
Team Debate Introduction
在每一轮辩论中，小学者们拿到辩题后将有15分钟的准备时间
15分钟组内“排兵布阵”时间：
在前两轮辩论中，前15分钟的准备时间可允许使用电子设备进行查阅，并只可手写记录相关资料在一张空白纸张上以备后续使用。而第三轮辩论的前15分钟准备时间不得使用任何电子设备。
4分钟高光发言时间：
每位辩手将有长达4分钟的发言时间
90秒有效反馈时间：
每轮辩论结束之后，正反两方需给对手提出可帮助对方在下一次辩论中提升的反馈。
裁判须根据学者们的表现给出公正的评分

入选结果将于五天内以邮件通知的形式告知，成功入选的老师将成为本次全球轮的辩论裁判，并等待后续工作安排
3、入选裁判参与培训
最终确定的辩论裁判前往深圳，于8月8日参加线下裁判培训会议
4、担任裁判
8月9日前往辩论学校担任裁判。活动结束后将获得津贴与证书

Judge Will Do
What a WSC Debate Judge Will Do
1. Attend the on-site training on Aug. 8
Selected judges are required to attend the on-site training at the designated venue on8 August, where the WSC chair will explain the judging process and details in a comprehensive and detailed way.
2. Judging Debates on Aug. 9
Selected judges are required to go to the Debate School as judges onAugust 9.

Team Debate Introduction
Each Team Debates Three Times
15 Minutes to Plan Your Team's Arguments and Do Research
For theirfirst two debates, they willhave unrestricted access to their devices and the internet (if available) and notesduring the 15-minute preparation period; afterwards, they must put their devices away. For theirthird debate, teams will haveno access to devices, internet, or external materials at any time. Each speaker maykeep only one new sheet of notestaken during these 15 minutes.
Speak for up to 4 Minutes
Use your time wisely! Debate is your chance to apply all that you've learned to make the most persuasive case you can.
90-Second Feedback
After each round, each team gives constructive feedback to the other team on how to improve.
Judges are required to give the scholars fair scores and choose the winning team based on their performance.

What a WSC Debate Judge Should Be
1、Bachelor's degree or higher witha deep interest in judging academic activity
2、English language skillsto work and communicate with people from different cultural backgrounds
3、An English major or teaching experience in an international schoolis preferred
4、Experience in judging academic debatesis preferred

Tips
- If you are already adelegation-attached teacher and are interested in judging the debate session, please contact your Regional Advisor directly to sign up.
- Selected judges are responsible for their accommodation, food, and transportation (lunch included on debate day).
04、You Will Gain
What You Gain as a Judge
Immersive experience of the WSC debate session from a judge's point of view, gaining more judging experience.
Official e-certificates will be sent to the selected judges at the end of the event!
Selected judges will receive an allowance at the end of the event!
05、Recruitment Process
Recruitment Process for your registration
1. Scan the QR Code to Sign-up
Scan theQR code belowto fill in the registration form. Please note that proof of English proficiency is required.
*The organising committee may send an email notification for interviews to those who do not provide proof of English proficiency.
2. Check your mailbox for your interview results
The results will be notified by emailwithin 5 days, and the selected candidates will serve as the debate judges for the global round. We will update all selected judges on the subsequent work arrangements.
3. Attend the on-site training
The selected debate judges will attend an on-site judge training onAugust 8, 2025
4. Judging Date
The selected judges will be judging debates at our debate schoolonAugust 9, 2025. Judgeswill receive an allowance and a certificate at the end of the event.
